About Me:

My name is Chris Jones, and I am a 2017 graduate of the University of Arkansas. Woo Pig Sooie! Growing up in a small town in south Arkansas, there were not many opportunities available for kids like me. No one in my family had ever gone to college before, and I always felt like it was a long shot for me too. Coaches would tear me down, and make me discouraged time and time again. The ones who showed me that they believed in me made every difference in my life. I still talk to many of them daily. I want to be a positive force for support, in exactly the way I needed as a young athlete. Growing up I loved sports, but I struggled with my weight, size, and constantly growing. I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin. My dream from childhood was to play football for the University of Arkansas, but I didn’t know how or where to even begin. I knew I had to get better to achieve that goal, so I would set up obstacle courses by myself in my backyard. My hard work paid off when I went to a Razorback Camp three years in a row in high school, and finally, I got noticed by the coaching staff because I was coming in first in every drill. I made the team as a walk-on, my childhood dream come true. I will never forget my first game as a starter. There was just something powerful about being on the field with the lights shining down on me while I looked up at 76,000 screaming fans. I panicked, my brain would forget everything I knew and every play I studied. It was always common for me to be throwing up in the locker room before kick-off because I was always an extremely nervous and anxious kid. I had to learn a new way of teaching myself, and it was then that I learned the power of meditation, affirmation, and thoughtfulness. I started doing yoga classes. I was finally able to block out the noise and just play! It brought the fun back into the game for me and the pressures and stress I felt before each game subsided. I know many young athletes feel the weight of the world around them, just like I did. These new skills allowed me to not only be a different player on the field but also translated over to the classroom. I was able to control my test anxiety, focus better, channel my energy, and learn more clearly. For someone who struggled with ADHD my entire life, it was an empowering feeling for me to finally feel in control. After making these changes I was able to find my perfect balance and I was awarded the SEC All-Academic Honor Award twice.

During my redshirt junior year I was ready to tackle a new experience and looking to graduate transfer, but quickly recognized that I needed to be noticed by just the right people in order to do so. I soon realized coaches all over the country were taking to social media to find their next recruits. I needed help, but I couldn’t find anyone to help me. I had to learn to market myself! From my effective social media engagement strategies, and creating my own videos/editing, along with my hard work perfecting the little things, I was able to land a full scholarship to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to play my final collegiate football season after being a walk-on for four seasons at Arkansas and lettering two of those seasons. While at UTC I started every game, and best of all I found a new place to call home. I still feel new to Chattanooga even though we have been here almost four years now, but this place is just so special to me! After college I found myself getting calls from a few NFL teams, but I knew my calling was something bigger than myself. My intuition told me that I need to build my own business from the ground up and do what I am passionate about for the long term. I wanted to make an impact in others lives. It was challenging to give up a sport that had always been part of me since childhood, but this new endeavor is so much more meaningful to me.

From that moment on, an idea was born. Healthy habits and proper technique can be taught from a younger age. These benefits can be carried with them throughout life. It is never too late to get better! While in school I focused my studies in Social Work and Sociology because I wanted to have a better understanding of what issues youth are facing, and I want to equip them to be the best they can be. My training method aims to engage and empower for success that translates both in athletic careers and in life.

This is my dream job, and I am thankful for every opportunity to build up the next generation of athletes to have every tool in their playbook for success.

When creating a name for my company I kept falling back on something a coach would always say to me… “It takes 10,000 hours to master something, don’t give up!” Just like that, our name was born, and this is how many hours I will personally dedicate, or more to help you or your child succeed!
